PURCHASE OF GOODS

Age Restriction

No person under the age of 18 years (for customers within the UK) may place an order. For other countries, local age restrictions apply. Hinton’s of Bewdley Ltd acknowledges the licensing objectives of the 2003 Licensing Act in order to protect those under the legal drinking age. Acceptance of our terms and conditions is taken as self verification that you are of legal drinking age in your country of residence.

Our Contract

All orders placed by you and purchases of goods from us (whether in-store, by telephone, via our website or by such other means as we may permit) are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by us either (as applicable): (i) by delivery of the goods to you; or (ii) by providing the goods you have purchased to you by hand, at which point a legally binding contract is constituted between you and us. The processing of your payment and acknowledgment of your order (including sending you an email confirming your order is being processed) does not constitute legal acceptance of your order.

Ordering

On our website, you may place an order to purchase a product advertised for sale by following the onscreen prompts after clicking on the item you wish to purchase. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you place your order by clicking the “Proceed to PayPal” or “Place order” buttons on the checkout page. All orders placed by you and purchases of goods by you from us, are subject to acceptance by us (as described above). Personal Use

By accepting these terms and conditions you agree that the products you purchase via this web site are exclusively for your personal use, and are not for resale or supply to minors.

Payment and Title

All purchases remain the property of Hinton’s of Bewdley Ltd until they are: (i) paid for in full and (ii) delivered to you or handed directly to you. Payment must be received in full together with the delivery charge and VAT (where applicable) before the items are dispatched or handed to you.

Payment Details

To protect your Credit or Debit card information, we use a specialist Payment Services Provider who is compliant with the VISA and MasterCard PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards. We don’t record or store your card details, and no Hinton’s of Bewdley Ltd employee has access to any card details.

Cancellation of Orders

If either party cancels an order prior to dispatch and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Delivery

We expect to deliver within two working days to the UK Mainland. Deliveries are not made on weekends or UK National holidays. Delivery will be made to the address specified by you on your completed order and will require a signature of a person over the age of 18 years. Challenge 25 will be carried out by the delivering authority. The person receiving the package must provide proof of age where requested by the delivering authority. No recipient under the age of 18 years will be able to sign for and/or take receipt of any delivery from Hinton’s of Bewdley Ltd Ltd. Ultimately, full responsibility falls on the delivering authority to make sure that the recipient is of legal drinking age. We will endeavour to ensure delivery within the specified period, however we will not be held liable for any delay in you receiving the items for whatever reason. Orders are processed with all possible speed; if you have not received your goods within 14 days, please contact us.

Receipt of Goods

Delivery notes should be signed “unexamined”. In the event of breakage or short delivery, we can only accept claims if we are notified in writing within three days of delivery. Please accept the delivery – DO NOT refuse it – sign the delivery note “Breakage” and contact us immediately.

Returns and Refunds

Upon receipt of the goods, if you believe that the items do not conform substantially to their corresponding description you must inform us within seven days of receipt of the goods after this period you will have accepted the items. We will refund your money within 48 hours of receiving the returned products, which must be returned to us in good condition.
